Hi.
Kev and I are great fans of the BTCC having watched it from late 1990's. We ended
up going to nearly every meeting for quite a few years and made friends with a
lot of drivers in the support series like Fiestas and Clios. I love taking pictures
of 'my boys' racing and around the paddock.
It
was one Fiesta driver who got me into writing web sites called Maxi Jazz (lead
singer of the dance band Faithless). He needed someone to liase with his web designers
but I ended up creating a new site (MaxiJazzRacing.co.uk) from scratch. Then my
husband mentioned this to Steve Wood who had just joined the BTCC and he is mates
with Stuart Scott and so wood-scott.com.
From there it snowballed... Nick Leason
and Andy Neate who used to race with Maxi Jazz, Clio drivers Steven Hunter - now
a whole team of Seats & Clios; Rick Pearson; Michael Doyle; and Nick Adcock
all of which have moved onto bigger and better cars and series.
I
also hold a bit of history on Dave Pinkney who I watched in numerous cars since
the Vectra days, and I have created a few sites outside of actual racing - SWR
Motorsport who look after the Clio gear boxes, a lovely villa, a music producer
for bikers and a company buyer/seller.
Also
on here are a few favorites of ours - some holiday pictures, a few favorite driver
photos and snaps.
So
although this site is just a way of easily displaying our favorites do have a
look around.
