PRESS RELEASE: For Immediate Release November 19, 2001 CHARITY DAY A SUCCESS FOR RICK PEARSON AND MARK FISH MOTORSPORT Rick Pearson and Mark Fish Motorsport enjoyed a successful Snetterton Charity Day last weekend, helping to raise an impressive £13,000 for the British Heart Foundation on Saturday alone. Fitted with a second race seat, Pearson's Clio V6 gave more than twenty invited guests the passenger ride of a lifetime at the Norfolk circuit. "The feeling of speed, braking, grip and cornering can never be experienced by watching a race or video - you just have to sit through it first hand," commented one lucky passenger. Capable of speeds in excess of 140mph, the ultra powerful V6 was a hit both on and off the track. With passengers queuing up for second rides, the Mark Fish Motorsport garage was visited by eager race fans and photographers throughout the day. Formula Palmer Audi
front-runner, Gideon Cresswell and Fiesta racer, Helen Moore were both
on hand to try out life as a passenger. Discounting three test sessions at the beginning of the year, Snetterton marked the first run on British soil for Pearson this season. "With no UK races for the Clio Trophy, this was a great opportunity to end the year on home ground as it gave us the chance to thank our fans for their loyal support whilst raising money for a very worthwhile cause," he said. "I'd like to thank Paul Palmer and his team for organising the event and all the fans who came along to ride in the NTWebhost Clio V6." |
